…The set was planted and the tale began.. 2012
As the old saying goes, we hope the lark brings lunchtime warmth, the swallow daytime warmth and the nightingale nighttime warmth. In the spring of 2012, we started our viticulture project and planted about a hundred vines in Muhu.
10 000 plants in Muhu soil!
We mainly planted 3 varieties – Rondo, Hasanski Sladki, and Alfa. In the spring of 2013 we expanded our vineyard and planted 400 vines more. The main varieties were Rondo (a grape for red wine) and Solaris (for white wine).
THE FIRST HARVEST WAS IN 2013
The vineyard will expand to three hectares and the yield should provide for 10 000 bottles of wine in the future.

We also experimented with some real Vitis Vinifera varieties such as Riesling, Cabernet Franc, Bacchus, and Kerner. Next year we plan to expand our vineyard significantly – the goal is to plant 10 000 vines.
In 2015 we will produce our first grape wine in the Farm Winery!
